Who Supports Your Candidates

It seems like some people are more interested in who already on the BOE supports which of the candidates, hopefully in addition to the issues. For the benefit of some who might be curious, here is a list I have compiled based on various sources of information.

Monte: Supported by Becker who circulated nomination papers. Also supported by Schneider. Other supporters are listed along the left.

Daggett: Unknown

Jahnke: Supported by Bowen who circulated nomination papers. Also supported by Weinsheim.

Lemberger: Unknown

McDermott: Supported by Weinsheim who circulated papers. Also supported by Bowen.

Schneider: Supported by Becker.

Informally, if we look at how the room seems to divide itself:

McDermott, Kavanaugh, Bowen, and Weinsheim are in one corner philosophically, while Schneider, Becker, and Traska are in the other philosophical corner.

Feel free to add to the list by posting a comment.

Schneider and Monte: Supported by the majority in the public

The rest: Supported by the minority in the public.

April 1st can't get here fast enough to have Monte and Schneider elected!

I guess if you look at it as the fab four (not in a good way) and the final three (intelligent minds), I guess you could say that Kavanaugh and McDermott also support Jahnke as they do whatever Bowen (and Thiel) tells them. That would mean that Traska supports Schneider and Monte. Sorry John and John, maybe next time.

I'm voting Monte for sure and maybe Schneider.

I'm not so sure about voting any incumbant, but Ben gets my vote if I do.

I hope Lemberger runs next year against Weinsheim. He would have a better chance. He needs to attend more meetings and get more info. I just don't think he is ready yet.

Daggett should stick to other offices to run for.

Ms. Monte will not have any of the votes from our house. Mr. Lemberger will. That will be the only vote cast for school board from our home.

(I am NOT Mrs. Lemberger and neither do we take marching orders from Ms. Thiel.)

Our decision against Ms. Monte is simply an outgrowth of having seen her run continously for so many months. Surely she must be exhausted by now.

I'm sorry you feel dedication, perseverance, and good stewardship are not worthy of your vote. I wish your chosen candidate luck as I do all candidates as did he toward me when last I spoke with him. I am glad you will be voting Tuesday, that is the duty of citizenship that counts the most.
